Who we are

Hey Tyto ("Hey Tyto," "we," "us") is a PlainTalk company. This policy explains what information we collect through heytyto.com and our services, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information you give us

When you start a free trial, set up your account or contact us, we may collect:

• Your name, email address and phone number
• Your business name, website and service area
• Anything else you choose to tell us in a message

Information from your business tools

If you become a customer and choose to connect tools such as your CRM or Google Search Console, we access the data needed to report on leads, booked jobs and search performance. We request read-only access wherever the tool allows it, and you can disconnect at any time.

Analytics and cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working and to understand how visitors use it. We may use analytics services, such as Google Analytics, that set cookies or collect information like pages viewed, time on site, device and browser type, approximate location and the site that referred you. This helps us improve the site and measure how well it works.

Analytics providers process this information under their own privacy policies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

Approximate location and language

When you open our setup form, we use your approximate city, based on your internet connection and provided by our hosting provider, to fill in the "Main city" field for you. We do not store it unless you submit the form, and you can change it before you do. We also remember your language choice (English or Spanish) in your browser so we don't ask again.

Your report sheet

When you start a trial, we create a Google Sheet with your Hey Tyto report and share it with the email you gave us. It holds your website updates, AI visibility results and traffic numbers. The sheet is stored in our Google account, and Google processes it under its own terms and privacy policy.

How we use information

• To run your AI visibility checks and prepare your reports
• To reply to your requests and provide our services
• To improve our website and services
• To send service updates. We send marketing emails only with your permission, and you can unsubscribe any time.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run Hey Tyto, under agreements that limit how they use it, or when the law requires it. These include our hosting provider, Google (for report sheets), our email delivery provider, Cloudflare (to block spam signups) and analytics providers.

How long we keep it

We keep information for as long as we need it to provide our services or as the law requires, then delete or anonymize it.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop contacting you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
